This is Cheryl's favorite way to make sprouted oatmeal which is very healthy and nourishing. This is a great side with a breakfast protein superfood smoothie or you can add 1-2 eggs as additional protein with the oatmeal.
1cup water (or 1/2 cup water with 1/2 cup whole milk)
¼cupsprouted oats
½cupfrozen blueberries, thawed
1TBchia seeds
1TBhemp seeds
1TBflax seed meal
¼tspceylon cinnamon
1-2TBraw nuts
5-6dropsorganic vanilla stevia
Instructions
Add water (or water and milk) to pot and boil.
Add ¼ cup of sprouted oats and boil for 10 minutes.
Pour into bowl and add flax seed meal, chia seeds, hemp seeds, cinnamon, raw nuts and vanilla stevia for vanilla flavor. The chia seeds make the oatmeal thick.
Serve with eggs, yogurt or other protein of choice.
