Orange Cream Smoothie
This is a delicious orange cream smoothie with raw almonds, flaxseeds and chia seeds! You can also eat this as a smoothie bowl and add optional toppings of hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, cacao nibs, and/or coconut flakes.
Ingredients
- ¾ medium orange, peeled (substitute frozen blueberries for a blueberry smoothie!)
- ½ cup plain greek yogurt or plain coconut yogurt
- 1 cup cauliflower rice, frozen
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 2 TB raw almonds
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 2 tsp flax seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla exract
- ½ cup water
Optional Ingredients
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- natural sweetener: 10-12 drops of liquid stevia (if protein powder is unsweetened)
Optional Topping Ideas
- 1 TB raw hemp seeds
- 1 TB sprouted pumpkin seeds
- 1 TB cacao nibs
- 1 TB raw coconut flakes
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into glass or bowl and add toppings if desired.
