Mixed Berry Almond Acai Superfood Smoothie
Mixed Berry Avocado Acai Superfood Smoothie Bowl
Made with immune and brain boosting, anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, and nutrient rich ingredients to nourish your body and min. Also excellent as a post-exercise meal for recovery. This can be made into a thick smoothie by adding an additional 1/2 cup of water to the recipe. Makes 2 large smoothies.
Ingredients
ORGANIC WHOLE FRUITS & VEGGIES
- 2 cups mixed berries, frozen
- 2 cups raw spinach or any greens
- 1 cup cauliflower rice, frozen
ORGANIC OMEGA 3 & HEALTHY FATS
- 1 medium avocado, peeled
- 1 TB raw coconut butter
- 2 TB flax seeds (can substitute 1 TB chia seeds)
ORGANIC SUPERFOODS, SPICES & PROTEIN
- ½ tsp ceylon ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground turmeric root powder
- ¾ tsp fresh ginger (or 1/8 tsp ginger root spice)
- 2 tsp green superfood powder (or 1 tsp moringa powder)
- 1 tsp beet root juice powder
- 2 tsp Super Anthocyanins powder or Acai powder
- 2 scoops vegan plant-based protein powder
- 3 ½ cups purified water
Natural Sweetener (Optional)
- ¼ tsp organic stevia extract (if protein powder is not sweetened)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into blender
- Add 3 ½ c purified water (add 4 cups to make smoothies)
- Blend on high until smooth
- Pour into 2 bowls and add toppings of your choice
TOPPINGS (OPTIONAL)
- Handful of organic berries
- 1 TB organic sprouted pumpkin seeds
- 1 TB hulled hemp seeds
