Blueberry Almond Acai Superfood Smoothie Bowl
Made with nourishing and brain boosting, anti-inflammatory, detoxifying, and nutrient rich ingredients to nourish your body and mind. This smoothie is also recommended as a post-exercise meal for recovery. This can be made into a thick smoothie by adding an additional 1/2 cup of water to the recipe. Makes 2 smoothie bowls.
Ingredients
ORGANIC WHOLE FRUITS & VEGGIES
- 2 cups blueberries, frozen
- 1 cup raw spinach or any greens (or 1/4 cup frozen)
- 1 ½ cups cauliflower rice, frozen
ORGANIC HEALTHY FATS
- ⅓ cup raw almonds
- 2 TB raw coconut butter
- 1 TB chia seeds
- 1 TB flax seeds
ORGANIC PROTEIN, SPICES & SUPERFOODS
- 2 scoops Protein powder
- ½ tsp ceylon cinnamon
- ½ tsp turmeric root powder
- 2 scoops green superfood powder or 2 tsp moringa powder
- 1 tsp beet root juice powder
- 2 tsp super anthocyanins powder or acai powder
- ¾ tsp fresh ginger or ⅛ tsp ginger root powder
Instructions
ADD INGREDIENTS TO BLENDER & PUREE
- Add all ingredients into blender
- Add 3 cups of purified water
- Blend on high until smooth
- Optional: Add ¼ tsp organic stevia extract powder if additional sweetness is preferred and blend again
- Pour into 2 bowls and add preferred toppings
OPTIONAL TOPPING IDEAS
- Handful of fresh berries
- Sunflower seeds
- Hulled hemp seeds
- Sprouted pumpkin seeds
