Berry Mango Coconut Superfood Smoothie Bowl
Made with immune and brain boosting, anti-inflammatory, detoxifying and nutrient rich ingredients to nourish your body and mind. Also excellent as a post-exercise meal for recovery. This can be made into a thick smoothie by adding 1/2 cup of water to the recipe. Makes 2 large smoothies.
Ingredients
ORGANIC WHOLE FRUITS & VEGGIES
- 1½ cups blueberries, frozen
- 1/3 cup cubed mango, frozen
- 1 cup raw spinach or any greens (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup cauliflower rice, frozen
ORGANIC OMEGA 3 & HEALTHY FATS
- 1 large avocado (conventional safe due to thick skin)
- 2 TB raw coconut butter
- 1 TB flax seeds or chia seeds
ORGANIC SUPERFOODS, SPICES & PROTEIN POWDER
- 2 tsp acai powder
- 2 tsp green superfood powder or moringa powder
- 2 tsp beet juice powder
- ½ tsp ceylon ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground turmeric root powder
- 2 scoops vegan plant protein powder
- ¾ tsp fresh ginger root (or 1/8 tsp ground ginger spice)
- ¼ tsp stevia extract powder (optional for additional sweetness) or any other natural sweetener
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into blender
- Add 3 ½ c purified water (add ¼ c to ½ c more water for thinner smoothie)
- Blend on high until smooth
OPTIONAL ORGANIC TOPPINGS
- Handful of fresh berries
- 1 TB hemp seed
- 1 TB sprouted pumpkin seeds
